Going to the Chapel and . . . . . .

They're going to get married. It's really a chapel in the woods. A one room church with a steeple and stained glass windows with 6 short pews on either side of the center isle.
This is the church where my nephew James and fiance" Beth got married Saturday. It was 142 miles from our house. Her parents are Methodist Pastor's and this is the church they pastor. It was a very small and quick wedding and reception. The church did have another building that was the fellowship hall. So after the ceremony, we walked across the yard to the other building for the reception. After the cake cutting, garter throwing, and bouquet throw the bride and groom drove away.

You don't see too many of these small church weddings anymore. A soloist/pianist sang 2 church songs before ceremony. There was no music at reception, no band - live or dj; there was no toast for the bride and groom; there was no first dance; and there was no decorated going away vehicle.
This is the bride and groom with the flower girl.
Congratulations James and Beth on your new beginning together!!!

Congrats to the happy couple. Love that picture of the little chapel. My niece got married in a little one room chapel in Calif. it was so quaint. Then had a reception somewhere else.
